⚠️ Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers immediately upon confirmation.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Memorease account directly from the mobile app by following these steps:

Open the Memorease app on your device
Navigate to the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down to the Account Management section
Tap the Delete Account button (red button)
Read the confirmation warnings carefully
When prompted, type DELETE to confirm
Tap Delete Account to complete the deletion

Alternative Method: If you're unable to access the app, you can email us at support@memorease.cloud with your deletion request. Please use the email address associated with your Memorease account.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted immediately from our servers:

User Account Information: Your name, email address, and authentication credentials
Children Profiles: All children's profiles you've created, including names, dates of birth, and profile pictures
Memories: All memory entries including titles, descriptions, dates, and memory types
Memory Images: All photos and images associated with your memories
Usage Data: Monthly usage tracking data and statistics
Subscription Status: Premium subscription information (if applicable)

Data Retention Policy

Retention Period: No retention period - All data is deleted immediately upon account deletion confirmation. There is no grace period or backup period.

Data Recovery: Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. This action is permanent and irreversible.

What Happens After Deletion

Your account will be immediately deactivated and you will be signed out
All your data will be removed from our servers
Your Google account authorization will be revoked
All local data on your device will be cleared
You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Memorease again

Local Device Data

In addition to deleting data from our servers, the deletion process will also:

Clear all locally stored memories and photos from your device
Remove all authentication credentials
Reset the app to its initial state

Note: This only applies to the device where you initiate the deletion. If you're signed in on multiple devices, you may need to sign out or reinstall the app on those devices.
